"La Route des Communes" publishes local paper guides in France-Comté in different cantons or community of communes. All villages ad cities in Franche-Comté are referenced with many information.

Developped with Symfony 2, the website works on any devices using Responsive Design. Custom search uses Elastic Search for very fast and relevant results. The same research is used for auto-completion in the search field.

The aim of the site was to be fast and optimized for SEO: it is hosted on our server which optimizes all resources : cache, minification, comrpession. Using HTML5 and jQuery for animations and Ajax requests, the website followws recommendations of Google PageSpeed? and Yahoo! YSlow to optimize the display time.

The site will evolve later to add more features and services for francs-comtois and tourists.
